The 2010 Australian Stencil Art Prize Finalists

Our judges had a tough time narrowing down the awesome stencil entries into a finalist list. You’ll be able to see these finalists exhibit at Oh Really Gallery from the 11 – 21 November 2010 in Sydney.

In no particular order, the finalists are:

The deadline for entries closed on the 1 August 2010. Thank you to every one that entered, we’ve received some awesome stencils.

A selection of finalists and the winner will be exhibited at Oh Really Gallery in Newtown from the 11 – 21 November 2010.

The winner will be announced at the opening of the exhibition and receive a $2000 cash prize. One lucky finalist will also win a special Avant Card prize – comprised of a 20,000 card print run of the stencil that they entered.

New Avant Card Prize Announced

Avant Card have partnered with us to offer a very special prize for the 2010 competition.

Avant Card will select one lucky finalist’s stencil artwork to win a national print run of 20,000 cards in association with the Australian Stencil Art Prize Exhibition in November.

Valued at over $8000, the prize will give one finalist an enormous amount of exposure.

In 2009, 23rd Key from Victoria was selected by Avant Card as the lucky finalist, sending the stencil of ‘Tiger’ (pictured) all over the country.
